Job Description : Job opening for Assistant Teacher – Hindi and Marathi Job Location: Bandra, MumbaiJob description: Brief about Aseema: Aseema Charitable Trust is a Mumbai based non-governmental organization with a mission to equip children from marginalized communities with high quality, value based education enabling development of their limitless potential. It works in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and is currently running three MCGM schools – The Pali Chimbai Municipal School in Bandra (West) The Santacruz Municipal School in Santacruz West and The Kherwadi Municipal School in Bandra (East).Responsibilities and Duties1. To prepare innovative lesson plans and teaching aids on time2. To monitor the progress of children by correcting books and assignments regularly3. To maintain close links with co-curricular teachers and to coordinate with Social Worker and Counsellor for the children’s requirements.4. To actively participate in the Parents meeting and provide feedback on the progress of the child to the parent5. To complete administrative responsibilities assigned to you on time6. To give equal attention to children of different abilities in the class7. To be attentive and observant of the children’s needs8. To motivate and enthuse the children9. To communicate with children in a respectful and positive manner10. To be flexible, open to change and willing to take on additional responsibilitiesRequired skills and qualifications: Graduate / Post Graduate with B.Ed. (Marathi / Hindi) is mandatory. Minimum 3 years of teaching experience. Good command over Marathi and Hindi language.
