Job Description: Production SW developer (Embedded)
Role Description:
Main scope of the role “Technical Lead “is to Lead a group of people, mentor them, Design the Software, develop and test the Production SW for ADCU products at TCI Bangalore.
Main Responsibilities:
SW Design: Support the FDO in designing the SW Architecture for the production related SW of ADCUs
SW Development: Develop the production related SW components, integrate them into the SW repository, according to the Continental internal processes and quality standards (ASPICE, ISO26262)
SW Test: Develop the unit and module tests required for the Continuous Validation process used in the Engineering Systems organization
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the SW components you own
Cooperation: Communicate and cooperate effectively with production experts from various geographical locations
Knowledge and capabilities required:
Experience Band between 8 to 12 Years in Automotive and Embedded Software Development
SW development tools such as DOORS, GIT, JIRA
Advantages if experienced with production relevant topics, e.g. test processes in production
Effective in communication, pro-active attitude, creative problem solving attitude and mind set
Professional experience in mentoring a team in an agile setup
Basic knowledge of Autosar
Added advantage for ADAS , ISO26262 experience
Skills:
Solid programming experience in Embedded C and C++
Microcontroller knowledge – PIC/ARM (8 bit, 16 bit, 32 bit)
Protocols: USART, I2C, SPI, PWM, CAN, Flexray
Scripting languages like Python, CAPL
Knowledge on diagnostics
Using debugger tools like Lauterbach-Trace32, Renesas E20 debugger
Interrupt Service Routines handling
Good Trouble-shooting skills
Fluent English speaking and writing. German added advantage
