Job Description : The Role
He/she would be Responsible for making the technical literature of the CTBA available in multiple languages.

What we expect of you?
Perform a linguistic evaluation of English source texts.
Work closely with technical authors and assess their work for correct and consistent use of the source language.
Monitor the meticulous use of rules for structured writing in a Content Management System (CMS) and thereby ensure the reliability of the translation memory.
Coordinate with company authorised translation agency for translation jobs, responsible for complete translation process (creating translation order, quote evaluation, review with respect to format and structure, follow-up…)
Forward feedback and reports regarding technical issues/queries from translation agency to appropriate departments/PC’s based on review and analysis and initiate corrective action to bring these issues to prompt, satisfactory resolution to translation agency
Check the content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g. font and structure)
Coordinate the publication of documents and thus deliver the deliverables of technical literature projects in various formats (eg PDF, USB, web, Extranet (Business Portal), …)
The translation coordinator operates cross-product company.
He/she will be the part of the team that supports Technical Literature projects: Technical Authors, the Coordinator of the Content Management System for Technical Literature.
Follow up the planning of projects and manage them in consultation with the team and project stakeholders.
Support ad hoc translation requests, if these fit within the context of the job.
As an expert in your field, you are also part of the Project Team that manages and further develops the Content Management System.
Skills
Fluent in English (as English is the source language), any other language is a +
An affinity with languages and a passion for correct and consistent use of language.
Knowledge of Windows, MS Office, SharePoint.
An affinity with technology. A good knowledge of our products is an advantage.
Knowledge of BPCS, Features / Feature Values are an advantage.
Knowledge of Translation Management Systems, Content Management Systems, XML authoring (DITA) are an advantage.
Educational requirements
Master or Bachelor in linguistics or equal by experience
Personality requirements
