The starting date is 1 May 2022.We are looking for an experienced secretary/assistant who is efficient, able to take the initiative and work independently but, at the same time, a good team player. Pertinent information can be found on www.swedenabroad.com/newdelhi; www.facebook.com/swedeninindia; and www.twitter.com/swedeninindia.TasksYour main duties would be toOrganize appointments, prepare meetings, and manage official correspondence for the sectionManage the Head of Section’s CalendarMake travel and hotel arrangements including visa formalities for the section officersCoordinate and document key section meetings, both external and internalCoordinate and manage information systems for the section such as preparing decisions, Note Verbales, letters and presentations, on behalf of the sectionAssist in the sections archive managementAssist in program and logistics of visits from high level dignitaries and delegations from SwedenHandle invitations and other preparations for various eventsMonitor and record expenditures as per allocated information and promotional budgetsYou will be stand by for secretaries of other sections as well as Head of Mission. You might also be assigned other duties by the management of the Embassy.Qualification and ExperienceBachelor’s degree or diploma majoring in administration, management, commerce, or similarMinimum 5 years documented experience of office management and secretarial dutiesProof of language skillsAccounting / budgeting skills is an advantageCommunication skills and facility with social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook etc) not strict requirement but certainly welcomeSkillsExcellent command of spoken and written English and HindiAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesEfficient and methodicalProactive and able to set prioritiesExcellent computer skills, including knowledge of Word, Excel and Power pointGood team player but also able to work proactively, take initiatives independently and suggest improvementsWillingness and ability to learn, develop and take responsibilityAbility and integrity to handle confidential informationSalaryThe salary will be based on the scale for local personnel at the Embassy of Sweden in India, which is an equal opportunity employer.ApplicationThe application should include a cover letter, CV, copies of certificates, scanned copy of photograph and references, and be sent by email no later than 15 April 2022.Only short-listed candidates will be contacted for an interview.
