Summary:
At the SAP Business Network Product Team, our mission is to develop world-leading, cloud-based ecommerce network solutions that synergize and leverage the capabilities of the Business Network product portfolio across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Procurement and SAP Fieldglass.To strengthen the team further, we are looking for a Senior User Assistance (UA) Developer.
The Role:
As a Senior User Assistance Developer (a.k.a., Senior Technical Writer), your responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Work closely with one or more product teams to provide design feedback, user interface text, and new feature content as per schedule and represent the UA team in scrum meetings.
Develop feature documentation, product documentation, and context-sensitive help within aggressive schedules using the Ixiasoft content management system and Enable Now tools respectively.
Plan and track own work assignments and deliver them on schedule with high quality.
Review content developed by fellow writers for grammar, style, structure, presentation and consistency.
Participate in various team initiatives for process and customer experience improvements.
Role Requirement:
A minimum of 10 years of experience writing customer-facing technical documentation.
Experience in developing documents for a variety of audiences.
Good grammatical knowledge, a clear writing style and excellent content organization skills.
Collaborate with the product team and identify documentation requirements during the design phase.
Ability to write content for overlapping product releases without compromising on quality and schedule adherence.
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, English or in related field.
Experience in using DITA and CMS Systems and an understanding of mark-up languages.
Experience in developing integration and API docs.
Experience working with source control, image-editing and MS office.
