Job Description : TE Connectivity’s IT Software and Systems Administration Teams support mainframe, Unix, Linux, and Windows-based servers. This includes installation, configuration, ongoing maintenance, and backup/recovery of physical and virtual servers. They monitor servers for performance and availability and work with customers and vendors to troubleshoot hardware and software issues. TE’s IT Software and Systems Administration Teams analyze application requirements and recommend appropriate hardware configuration to meet requirements, install, configure, upgrade, monitor, troubleshoot technical systems software such as middleware, portal, e-mail, collaboration, unified communications, systems monitoring, trouble ticketing, software distribution, etc. They also evaluate new products, upgrade features, and recommend toolset selection.
Job Summary:

TE Connectivity is offering a ServiceNow Administrator position within its globally acting ITSM Solutions team. We are operating a cloud based ServiceNow instance. In use are several platforms features as well as several applications out of the ITSM and ITOM modules. Further, a service portal with a growing number of Service Catalogs, Chat, Knowledge Base and Service Alert Center.
As a ServiceNow administrator, your duties are to maintain the applications within TE Connectivity’s ServiceNow Instance or provide support to end-users. You administrate the workflows on the software, implement new systems or add-ons, generate reports, import and export data, maintain user and group records, promote update sets, help with problem resolution, and test systems after they are changed. Further, you manage and work on incoming Incidents and Requests.

Responsibilities:

Management of Requests, Incidents and Changes related to the ServiceNow platformFulfilling and tracking of Incidents, Request and Changes raised with ServiceNow HI-PortalEducating staff on application of the standard functionalities of TE’s ServiceNow instanceAdministrating and maintaining the security aspects on platform levelPerforming changes to the configurations of applications and modulesMaintaining and controlling basic data integrationsEnsuring system performance and availabilityClear understanding of Schema maps and the system dictionarySupport the development operations process by documenting and testing of changes and management of Update Sets

Competencies & Experience Required/Desired:

Appropriate, verifiable job experience (1-4years) in ServiceNow administrationExcellent written and oral communication skills – high standard of accuracyExcellent presentation and teaching skills

Good experience with the following technologies/tools/processes:

ServiceNow Certified Administrator on at least Orlando, Paris or QuebecITIL Foundations (Edition 4 – ITIL practices – service management practices)LEAN, SixSigma, Continuous Improvement processes and tools

Educational Required/Desired:

Bachelor’s degree or comparable education in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required or appropriate job experience.Proficient written and verbal communications skills in English (CEFR C1). Additional language(s) are welcome.High capacity for autonomous work with accurate reporting and feedback to manager.
