Job Description : We invite you to bring your Software Asset Management Skills into play as you will Ensure that there is controlled and implemented Software Lifecycle processes for all our physical endpoints. To succeed in this role, you must have 5+ Years of experience into Software Asset Management. Are you our new Software Asset Management Specialist?

As our new Software Asset Management Specialist, you will be part of Asset Management Team.
Set and Communicate Asset Purchasing Policies
As an SAM Specialist need to know which Software the employees or the organization is using. While renewing a particular Software they should also justify why they need to renew that app and in what aspect it helps in daily operations.
Coordinate Governance, Processes, and Reporting
You should govern the policies and processes and have real-time reporting on all the applications. You must know who owns them, who is using them, how frequently they are used, the most used features, their renewal dates, etc. Make sure you have a valid method to report usage.
Have a record of compliance
The reports you created will be your justification that Software Assets are being well-managed across the company. Remember, these reports shouldn’t be static spreadsheets or disparate reports. Instead, they should be in one single place, accessible to all stakeholders, from a single screen and dashboard.

You will join our Software Asset Management Team
Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:
Plan monitor and control resources to maximize the efficient and effective use of Software Licenses in order to ensure that Ramboll is compliant and in sync with our vendors.
Provide support and guidance as subject matter expert in the organization, to inform and influence the business toward best practice and cost-effective license coverage.
Provide and maintain policies and processes for Software Lifecycle
(ordering/buying/implementing/usage/harvesting and decommission).
Provide direction for the application of policy and process into and across the function/s in an
efficient and integrated way.
Negotiate successfully across the organization and with external suppliers/vendors in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Maintains stakeholder community and enables information sharing environment.
Proactively identify and drive initiatives to achieve SW related savings, developing best practices and processes, to continuously improve software asset management service and to ensure compliance with budget and contractual requirement.
Lead on establishing and maintaining good relationships with the business and external partners to understand and influence their activities in relation to Software usage.
Plan, develop, organize, implement and direct the process for licensing in a global environment
across regions, in close collaboration within the regions.
Monitor all licensing requirements and coordinate implementation schedules.
Ensure compliance with all applicable license regulations; maintain all necessary license records.
Maintain knowledge on all compliance trends and recommend changes for all company processes regarding software licenses.
Coordinate with senior management and forecast all license cost and resolve all complex issues,
regarding this, with help from legal and finance teams.
Analyze and recommend improvements to all software licenses and implement same.
Managing customer requests by phone and mail about purchasing and license management
Collaboration with our operational team in India and Denmark
QUALIFICATIONS:
Conceptional knowledge of Information Technology.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Proven researching ability.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
IT Asset Management and Discovery Tools experience.
Experience interpreting licensing terms and conditions.
CSAM certification desirable, but not essential.
Soft skills required:
Excellent (English based) communication skills (written and verbal) as you will be working with a variety of users within the business day to day
Good organisational skills
