This position is based out at our office in sector-47, Gurgaon.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations by controlling and verifying our financial transactions. Senior Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger, and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Senior Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The ideal candidate also has experience collaborating and managing a team of accountants.
Responsibilities and deliverables:
Preparation of Schedule III Financials for the statutory audit on Monthly basis as per Indian Accounting Standards.
Preparation of consolidated financials monthly as per statutory audit requirement.
Coordinating with the statutory and Internal auditors.
Coordinating with the International accounting teams for proper book closure.
Conducting the IFC checks on behalf of the management monthly and providing the status and monthly report to the CEO.
Handling the Foreign subsidiary’s accounts and Tax compliances.
Heading the GL team and ensuring the smooth closure of books as per Ind AS.
Ensuring all the Accounting compliances as per local GAAP and IFRS for subsidiaries’ Taxation compliances.
Preparation of MIS and providing monthly reporting.
Responsible for management of Project Financing to maintain books of accounts along with financial reporting.
Timely cost-effective procurement of funds by optimum leveraging the assets of the company.
Funding arrangement for upcoming projects by making loan proposals, getting proposals appraised, sanctions, and putting funding in place.
Funding arrangement from banks/FIs through retail housing loans in residential projects.
Bank Guarantee Management.
Monitoring of debt servicing.
Relationship building with existing and prospective bankers/FIs for funding arrangement.
Ensuring statutory compliances in time for the area under the responsibility.
Ensuring timely reporting of MIS to management.
Hands-on experience in Financial Modeling, Due Diligence, and Vendor Audit.
Managing the day-to-day accounts activities of the various assigned clients (foreign subsidiaries) along with a team of around 10 members.
Responsible for managing P&L accounts of multiple foreign subsidiaries in India.
Work closely with Global management regarding the financial health of the company.
Ensure all statutory compliances on time e.g GST, TDS, PF, etc.
Ensuring proper documentation and Banking in coordination with the assigned team.
Requirements
Experience:
Candidates should have 10 to 15 years of total work experience.
Candidates with experience in the IT industry will be an added advantage.
Skills:
Good communication skills and ability to undertake multi-tasks simultaneously and to cope with a changing working environment.
Sound theoretical and practical exposure to multi-client requirements of foreign subsidiaries in India.
Client Management
Working knowledge of SAP, Tally, MS Office
Updated knowledge of taxation and statutory compliances
Qualification:
B.com /M.com / CA or MBA (Finance) will be the right candidate.
Experience in CA firms will be preferred.
