Job Description : you’ll be our : Service Technical Writeryou’ll be based at : IBC Knowledge Park, Bangaloreyou’ll be Aligned with : Service Support Manageryou’ll be A member of: Ownership Management, BusinessWhat will I be doing at Ather?You will be responsible for creating technical documentation for Service at Ather. You will collaborate closely with Engineering and Service Delivery to build well-structured, comprehensive documentation that meets organizational standards. Your responsibilities include:Obtain a deep understanding of products and services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging contentWrite user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience – internal vehicle service or customer service teams and service personnel at workshops (service manager, floor supervisors, service advisors, final inspectors & technicians)Edit material prepared by other teams for consumption of service staffIncorporate animation, graphs, illustrations, or photographs to increase users’ understanding of the materialStandardize content across platforms and mediaCollect user feedback to update and improve contentImprove all technical data (databases and documentation) handled in vehicle serviceWhat kind of experience & skills do I need for this role?Technical knowledge of automobile service and repairWriting skillsDocument design & structuringBasic understanding of database systems (SAP, DMS)Some attributes that you bring to this role?Examining information – Read through loads of technical literature, data and succinctly capture relevant pieces for the audienceProducing output – Work individually to build documentsTeam working – Collaborate with different team to gather inputsDeveloping expertise – Utilize interactions and literature to expand knowledge and cultivate an expert reputationWhat should I have graduated in?Graduation : B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics or a Bachelor’s (Honours) degree in ScienceWork Experience : 0-3 years, Automobile industry background is a plusJob Type: Full-time
