Position: Logistics Administrator
Location: Vikhroli, Mumbai
Reports to: Manager Logistics Shared Services EMEA) functionally & administratively to Regional Manager, LZAM South Asia Supply Chain, COE & Shared Services
Division: Lubrizol Advanced Materials India Pvt Ltd

Summary of the Role:

As member of the centralized Supply Chain Resource Centre, you will provide admin support the European Logistics shared services team. The Logistics Administrator will be accountable to:
execute the “freight audit and payment” process for the Ocean Freight transport mode and closely interact with the respective accounts payable teams for these activities.
provide support in SAP to maintain carrier rates, as well as to prepare customer freight rate files for Road Transportation, under the coordination of respective Logistics Buyer.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Daily verification of ocean freight invoices, centralized and issued by freight forwarder on behalf of Lubrizol’s contracted ocean carriers and this based on Lubrizol’s contracted rate files.
Follow up on timely payments of ocean freight-related invoices, with the target to avoid overdue invoices at all times.
Provide support to maintain and update carrier rates in SAP for Road Transportation.
Convert files with calculated customer freight rates into respective Master Data upload templates.
Assisting the Logistics team in transportation-related quotations.

Requirements (education, experience, competencies and specific job requirements):
Fluent in English
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency in SAP and MS office tools.
Accurate planning, execution and time management skills.
May need to work in European time zone.

Education / Certification:
Graduate degree
Proficiency in SAP
Good working knowledge of MS Office/Word/PowerPoint and other MS office applications.
Ability to retrieve, analyze, and input data

Experience and Skills:
Experience in logistics or good understanding of the different transport modes.
Experience in procurement, Finance are preferred.
