The Job Opportunity
The Accommodation Porter will provide portering service for all bedding and mattress replacements required within camp.
Key accountabilities
Coordination and delivery of the MELABS mattress replacement program
Oversight of the laundry team of subcontractors
Organize and coordinate all fresh linen replacements in line with expected occupancy
Visual Quality checks of all bed linen as it cycles through the laundry system and reporting defects to line manager
Assist in stock taking activities on a monthly basis
What we are looking for in our candidates:
Ability to handle confidential information in strict confidence
Always maintain a professional demeanor
A lively, energetic, and strong personality with a practical “Can-Do” attitude
Must be able to respond to, and follow verbal instructions
Specific requirements
Good verbal and written English language skills
Minimum of a Secondary School certificate
Previous experience in military base environment
Two (2) years of experience in Housekeeping and Laundry services
