Job Description : Purchase to Pay Accountant
We are looking for a reliable and precise professional to help us properly maintain our P2P process. The Accounts Payable accountant will maintain vendor and employee accounts and assist in P2P process. We are seeking an experienced candidate who can analyze and process P2P transactions, work with vendors to resolve past due invoices and reconcile monthly statements with vendors.
IMPORTANT: Proven experience within Purchase to Pay / P2P role, Coupa and Power BI essential.
Ensure that invoices are processed quickly and efficiently, resolve any queries as required to ensure that vendors are paid in time.
Contribute towards improving the ‘Purchase to Pay’ Realtime process, policies, and procedures in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Guide team to ensure that the P2P processes are followed
Ensure that Balance sheet accounts e.g. Creditors, GRIR etc. are cleared periodically
Prepare standard and ad-hoc reports / dashboards for management
Communicate with internal stakeholders effectively & efficiently to ensure proper compliances on policies. Bridge the gap whenever necessary.
Proactively extend support to business in educating and resolving their queries
Handle internal and external audit queries independently with respect to P2P process
Ability to work independently delivering to tight deadlines
Key skills and experience required for P2P / Purchase to Pay Accountant will not be limited to:
Commerce background with 5+ years relevant experience with MNC / Financial Shared service centers
Proven experience within a Purchase to Pay role
Coupa and SAP experience is essential
Strong communication skills and customer service orientation, professional attitude, logical thinking and reliable
Experience with data visualization using BI systems such as PowerBI or similar preferred
Advance Excel knowledge and excellent analytical skills
Self-motivated and fast learner with a strong sense of ownership and drive
