The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting the administrative staff in the overall support and logistics activities at String. Candidate is someone who is reliable, enthusiastic about taking initiatives and exhibits meticulous attention to detail. Candidate will work very closely with the String team and outside vendors.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the front office and coordinate housekeeping, pantry, security, visitors and customers.
Coordinate employee events.
Create regular purchase orders.
Support with filing and documentation.
Manage inventories, consumables and store receivables.
Manage facility hygiene, lab coats and first aid.
Be a conscientious laboratory citizen.
Adhere to EH&S standards of the company.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Graduate degree, preferably BSc or BCom.
2 to 3 years work experience in office administration.
Good team player.
Strong organizational and time-management skills are essential.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office suite.
PERSONAL QUALITIES:
Driven, dedicated team player with attention for detail.
Ability to work independently and deliver on project objectives.
Capacity to be proactive and take initiatives.
