The GHD Advisory Team is made up of highly expert government and business consultants, asset-management, economists, professionals, engineers and industry specialists, and provide a wide range of services.
As part of our growth, we have a number of opportunities to join to our GHD Advisory Team covering Europe, UK and the Middle East.
To meet current and anticipated workloads, we are looking for a senior consultant to join our Abu Dhabi office to support and drive forward our going workload. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of our workload to deliver projects. The role is dynamic and the successful candidate will need to be technically proficient but also adapt at working across infrastructure sectors.
Responsibilities:
To support GHD projects in the Middle East with potential to support other projects in Europe and the UK
Represent the company to the highest professional standards with clients
Provide robust solutions to clients to support development and investment decisions.
Develop professionally within a progressive consultancy environment
Assisting clients integrate, optimise and plan sustainable strategies for major infrastructure assets
Supporting senior advisors and project managers projects
Contributing to the delivery of projects
Development of key strategies and policies
Production of presentations and participation when delivering projects
Asset management benchmarking studies
Development of asset management tools and processes to add value to client operations
Develop an appraisal of capital assets and operational solutions
Create an assessment and review of whole-life costing
To be successful in this role, you will posses:
Degree Qualification in a related discipline such as Business, Engineering, Planning, Economics, or equivalent operational experience
Proven analytical skills, including market analysis skills as well as proven problem solving skills
The ability to evaluate complex issues relating to technology
Experience in project delivery
Ability to analyse and clearly present data
Ability to convey complex technical concepts to ‘non-technical’ audiences
Excellent report writing and presentation skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to develop strong professional relationships
