Position : AMBULANCE DRIVER WITH BLS CERTIFICATION
Job Description : 1.1. Provides safe and reliable transport for patients within a specified time period.2. CORE FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES2.1. Accepts patient transport assignments daily, drives Ambulance assisted by other medical personnel if required.2.2. Transport’s patients to assigned destination. Assists patient to board the Ambulance (mobile walking or load onto gurney assisted by hospital personnel).2.3. Accompanies physician/nurse on emergency calls to transport patients to hospital.2.4. Ensures that Ambulance is fully stocked with medical supplies and equipment in good working order including oxygen tanks.2.5. Maintains log of transport trips undertaken e.g. date, time leaving hospital, time returned to hospital, destination and person who assigned the duty and purpose of trip plus mileage record in and out.2.6. Performs daily maintenance on hospital vehicle e.g. petrol, water, oil, brakes, tyre pressure and keeps vehicle clean in and outside (no smoking in vehicle).2.7. Notifies Maintenance Manager of repairs or replacement of tyres, service etc that is required to vehicle.2.8. Notifies Maintenance Manager of upcoming annual vehicle inspection, registration, and insurance renewal.Ensures personal appearance neat and tidy, wearing hospital provided uniform during working hours must be clean.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentEducation:Master’s (Preferred)Experience:Specialist ER: 3 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Driving License (Preferred)Valid BLS Certification (Preferred)Expected Start Date: 01/12/2021
