Process Overview
Data Platform Services organization provides all platform and technology capabilities required for the enterprise to store, process and report the data, supporting the operational and analytical requirements of the organization. Enterprise platforms of Teradata enables the business gaining the insights from Data and also enabling the business to enhance their services and offerings.
Core Technology Infrastructure team provides the operations support, including the administration of these Enterprise Teradata platforms 24*7 along with planning for expansions and upgrades including patches and hardware fixes.
Job Description
Supporting Enterprise Teradata Platform operations including the upgrades, patches and monitoring for its performance. Also create, review and deploy Application/Infrastructure Change Requests aligning to the change management policies on Enterprise Teradata platforms.
Experience requirement:
Hands-on experience with Teradata database system administration for 5+ Years.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include working with all stakeholders like production support, application development teams, platform architect and governance teams on various service requests and Incidents. Supporting platform upgrades, expansions, stop/start services and configuring for improved stability and performance.
Requirements
Education: B-Tech/MCA
Experience Range:
Hands-on experience with Teradata system administration for 7+ Years
Experience in working with global teams in cross-cultural environment.
