Job Description : Data Steward/Data Architect
The Global Data Steward will be responsible for the quality and maintenance of the organization’s key data elements. By working closely with Global Data Domain owners and local data stewards this person will deal with the day-to day organization, administration, project execution and follow-up as requested by Group Operations Management. Maintenance of data will require to be dealt with in a timely, proactive, accurate and strictly confidential manner. This function will be based in the Netherlands and reporting to Group Operations.
Your responsibilities
Assist in defining migration procedures, execute migration of master data and contribute to development and implementation of a global data governance framework.
Create and maintain master data, document data definitions, governance rules, data location, owners, regulatory requirements and ensure data quality between source systems.
Assist in cleansing, de-duplication data, coordinate data clean-up initiatives for global and regional data.
Entering and maintaining of master data related to TAS details, service matrix and service lines.
Data quality reporting for global and regional data.
Ultimately, you will develop an understanding of the important data elements for the organization.
Who we are looking for
Proven work experience as a Data Steward/Data Architect with Overall Experience 10 -15 years
1-2 years related/relevant experience (preferably in a professional services organization)
In-depth understanding of database structure and management.
Graduate Degree (Any/ Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field would be good)
Ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organization
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills.
Detail oriented individual who is also interested in understanding the overall targets and strategies
Self-starter who enjoys managing their own time and tasks and thrive in an ambiguous environment
Tech qualifications
Proven work experience and sound knowledge on Structured Query Language (SQL) , Transact-SQL dialect
General Understanding and Familiarity with data modelling, data warehouse concepts
Proven Programming Expertise, knowledge of Python along with one additional programming language
Solid understanding of machine learning and ML algorithms
Strong Project Management, organizational and leadership skills

Proven ability to respond to complex challenges and deliver practical solutions and direction which reflect a balanced view of the operation
