Location: Kolkata
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare general ledger transaction entries.
Prepare and generate financial reports
Assist with budgeting and forecasting when needed
Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
Assist with preparation of month end reconciliations
Ensure accounting standards and policies are adhered to
Support management reporting and analytics
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified Accountant
Experience in working with SOX
At least 3 years of experience in Australian Accounting preferably with experience in the mining or manufacturing industries.
Total experience greater than 5 years
Experience with SAP, Oracle or similar ERP
Proficient in MS Office and Google Apps
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Excellent time management and organisation skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work independently
