Our team
We are Adobe Capture team, the team of technology innovators, go-getters and change agents. We already have our mobile application presence on iOS/Android, and we are expanding reach of capture to Photoshop, InDesign, XD, Illustrator, Proteus, Fresco and other products. The team works on wide variety of tech and media types, from mobile to web/JS. Our aim is to build fast and easy product experiences that enable creatives, social influencers, marketers, small businesses – really anyone with something to capture and convert it into digitally reusable asset for further usage. We’re looking for exceptional mobile developers (iOS and/or Android), who can scale to expand their horizon to multiple platforms in future (iOS, Android, web). We’re building world class features/tools which can power creatives to do their work more efficiently and in a better way. This position is an opportunity to innovate, play, and experiment to bring pre-level design capabilities to millions of users worldwide.
What you’ll do
To ensure the continued success of a dynamic and engaged technical team, your core responsibilities will be to:
Responsible for design and architecture of new components/features.
Work with designers and other developers to prototype and explore approaches for new features in capture mobile app, while keeping their future scalability on web and other platforms.
Collaborate with architects, product management and other engineering teams to build the technical vision, and road map for the team.
As a unified engineer you will be responsible for development, testing, automation and full delivery of features.
Write fault tolerant code, build analytics in features to understand usage pattern and take further actions based on data.
Mentor and groom junior members for future.
Desired skills
Should be a B Tech/M Tech Computer Science from a premier institute.
Should have a strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals.
Must have 6-12 years of software design and development experience, preferably in a product development environment.
Hands-on, mobile application software development for the iPhone and/or Android Platform.
Must have excellent working knowledge of C/C++ and/or Swift/Java/Kotlin and OO design/design patterns.
Working Knowledge of Objective-C, Cocoa Touch, Xcode, iOS SDK 3.0/4.2/5.0, JAVA, Android OS
Self-starter and goal-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work cooperatively within a strong diverse technical community to expedite development tasks.
Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
Ability to write scalable and maintainable code
Pluses
Experience of web frontend development or web services is a plus.
Experience with graphics technology Metal, Vulkan is a big plus.
