Job Description : Petrofac is currently looking to recruit a Cyber Security Analyst to be based in Sharjah, UAE.

Scope of Responsibilities
Provide first level of support for Security Operation team. Monitor and Alert on Security Events and Incident using various Security Tools available with SOC Team and perform first level of Incident Management.
Ensure all threats detected by the system are notified in timely manner.
Continuous review of Incidents to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
Collect Cyber Security Threat Intelligence from various sources.
Monitor and Alert Security events and Incidents.
Perform Manual and Automated review of access and privileges.
Perform Security Assessments.
Perform Vulnerability and Penetration Testing.
Application Security Testing.

The post holder is expected to undertake any tasks which may reasonably be expected within the scope of the position.
The postholder is expected to adhere to the 9 Life-Saving Rules and the Petrofac Values and Behaviours.
Knowledge & Qualifications:
Engineering graduate – preferably B.E. /B tech in I.T or Computer Engg
Certification(s) such as CCNA, CEH preferred.
Good knowledge of Cyber Security Concepts.
Skills & Competencies:
Ability and interest to learn and acquire new skills.
Good verbal & written communication skills
Good understanding of Application, networking, and operating systems concepts.
1+ years’ experience working in Information security or in IT Operations, Software and Application testing.
Experience of working in Security operation center.
Experience in handling first level of security alerts and incidents.
Experience in working or Knowledge of technologies like Firewall, IDS/IPS AV, ETDR and SIEM.
