Job Description : Job Title: Senior Java Developer
Location: Pune
General Job Description:
Application developer to lead the design, development and maintenance of both Core and Internet banking applications the developer will lead the entire application lifecycle right from concept stage until delivery and post launch support.
Contribute to the Design and develop high quality software for large scale Java/Spring Batch/Micro-service Applications
Perform unit and system testing of application code as well as execution of implementation activities.
Analyze business requirements and create technical design documents that are in accordance with the Banks’s architecture standards.
Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, and modifies computer programs of high complexity, significance, and risk. Quality assurance testing, including functional, performance/scalability, and regression testing.
Performs and/or leads design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solution. Develops basic and detailed program specifications.
Engineering/developing features for the Web hosting applications and integration of services with mobile apps
Lead the entire app lifecycle right from concept stage until hosting, delivery, and post launch support.
Writing technical documentation, including design documentation and training materials
Platform delivery including packaging, installation, and configuration

Skill Summary
Minimum 8 Years of Experience in IT, preferably servicing for the Banking Applications Domains Strong background in Unix, Oracle, Java (Java 1. 7/Java 1. 8), Spring Framework, Jenkins, Gradle, and Github. Experience with RESTful services, Rabbit MQ, JSON, Unix Scripting, and Hadoop is a plus. Core development experience in large scale enterprise Java applications using Spring Framework. Experience in SQL (Oracle databases) Demonstrates strong understanding of the business needs driving the projects
Skillset:
Web Technologies:
Hands on Programming experience in Java, Servlets, JSP, Perl and Unix Shell Scripting
Experience with Web (Apache) and Application Server (Tomcat, Weblogic, jboss), RDBMS (Oracle, sql/pl-sql)
Test Driven Development coupled with Agile SDLC
Familiar with Hardware Security Module and application security monitoring concepts and securing web/mobile applications
Automation of build and deployment
Others:
Web service integration (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML)
Development using web technologies
Building web and native apps (Teamcity integration, ANT, Maven etc.)
Using version control (e.g., SVN, CVS, GIT, Bitbucket etc.)
Excellent debugging and optimisation skills
Ability to reverse-engineer legacy code and also adapt new tools.
