This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to further grow their already proven skills and capability in a technically challenging role, but also being part of a very experienced multi-faceted team of two very high-profile clients and programs (internally and outside of CGI) and also helping to establish architect model to take the business-critical application to market for other upcoming potential clients

Job Role / Your future duties & responsibilities :

The candidate will be working closely with the eVA Operations team. The product is undergoing a trasnformation to devOps and the member in this role will be responsible for developing the activities needed for eVA architecture/Implementation and will address the needs of stakeholders who are engaging in the devops transformation of the Solutions Products.
Should be having Experience in managing applications hosted on Windows Server.Manage Build, release and configurations of production systems.Deploy, automate, oversee and monitor cloud-based systems to ensure high availability, performance, scalability and security.
Candidate should have a passion for the technology which is demonstrated through professionalism and striving for excellence in all aspects of the customer experience.
Expected to have a holistic view of technical environments and help forward the organizational infrastructure as a competitive technological advantage.
Suggest usable tech that others dream of and know how to implement those.
Analyze and resolve application issues using logs, database queries, monitoring tools, server configurations, etc.
Moreover, you are required to have a natural problem solving ability, sharp reasoning and a logical bent.
Improve, maintain and manage a continuous delivery system.Research, propose and implement best practices in managing the code and automating deployments.Automate and streamline day-to-day business tasks and processes.Manage release notes standards.Partner with stakeholders to ensure continuous and timely delivery.Ability to integrate with the development and operations teamDesign and implement application deployment and configuration management solutions to meet the needs of application deployment and managementMust be able to independently debug issuesExperience with Continuous Integration orchestration (Jenkins)Practical usage of various source control systems (Git)Understanding of Repository management applications (BitBucket)Comprehensive experience in developing and promoting tools that simplify the build process and CI/CD pipeline.To have a very good grasp on programming fundamentals and can whip up a script/ program in Unix/Linux/SQL as required.
Very Good written & verbal communications skills, inter personal skills to work with various teams
Required qualifications for this role:

Windows Administration including IIS management, Scripting languages – Python/Powershell, UNIX/LINUX, GIT, Ansible, Jenkins, DevOps, Tomcat, Elasticsearch, AWS(optional)
Experience in app maintenance (for example: debugging operational failures, java process analysis, analysis of app and server performance issues, etc.)
Should have good ability to anticipate issues and formulate remedial actions.Should have sound interpersonal and team working skills. Learn new technologies as needed.Should be proficient to write performance efficient and high quality code.Should be having Experience in managing applications hosted on Windows Server.Manage Build, release and configurations of production systems.Willingness to take initiative and effectively apply the knowledge gained towards accomplishment of project/program/organization goals
