Position : Engineering Manager Full-Time

Job Description : Hands-on technical management of a team of highly skilled software developers and quality testers ensuring great execution of Agile/scrum processes and repeatable, predictable, and high-quality delivery of software solutions.
Provide leadership, mentoring, resource planning, and drive the successful growth of the team.
Participate in and oversee the design and development of new software and/or extensive software revisions.
Work with the product owner to define technical requirements and oversee the successful conclusion to sprints and releases.
Identify areas to collaborate on across the different products in order to drive consistency, technology and process sharing, as well as code re-use.
Responsible for the overall quality of all the products and ensuring quality objectives are met.
Drive test strategies across multiple business units and complete ownership of the test automation framework.
Participate in training and orienting new developers as they join the team
Answer questions and resolve issues brought forth by the engineering team members
You will need to have:
Minimum 10 years of experience in delivering scalable, cost-efficient server/ cloud-based customer-centric React web applications.
Experience leading a development team in an Agile/SCRUM setting, with demonstrable skills in project/task estimation, delegation, and management.
Strong experience in people management and demonstrated technical leadership capabilities.
Min. 3 years of hands-on experience in developing end- to- end IoT applications that are comprised of cloud-based applications and services, web applications, data analytics, wireless communication systems, embedded sensors, and devices along with mobile App
Strong experience in driving solutions using enterprise technology stacks such as JAVA /NodeJS
Strong experience in implementing solutions, with applications built using native Android and iOS, cross-platform React Native and responsive web React JS and Angular approaches
Strong experience in designing database schema on both traditional RDBMS and NoSQL databases
Practical knowledge in the usage of at least one of the leading cloud services such as AWS.
Good understanding of continuous integration and delivery concepts. Experience with tools such as Docker and Docker-based deploymentsExperienced in Restful services and Micro-Service Architecture
Experience with Big Data Pipeline Management systems such as Kafka, Hadoop, Spark
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Experience working with geographically distributed teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively document artifacts and processes then explain them to others
