Key Responsibilities
Oversee routine financial, statutory, compliance, legal responsibilities
Reconcile Client & Vendor invoices with bank statements
Process monthly payroll
TDS, GST, EPF, ESIC, AR/AP submissions along with reconciliations and return submissions with company CA. Documentation of vendor invoice and their categorization for accounting
Being single point of contact for financial and information security audits
Budget management, financial analysis, forecasts, strategic planning
Develop yearly budget for the business in collaboration with senior management and department heads, ensure forecast to be in line with budgeted targets
Review monthly sales forecasts, KPIs & conduct variance analysis, cash flow review and working capital with senior management
Preparation of quarterly board reporting packs including strategic agenda, supporting material for quarterly meetings, drafting FAQs and responses for Board discussion
Interacting with stakeholders, management of finance department, coordination with other departments
Monitor and review of direct and indirect costs centers and constantly monitor and identify cost optimization
Manage, guide and mentor finance department members
Be the single point of contact for departmental communication to finance
Managing relationships with CA/CS, bankers, auditors, and investors. Document action steps, e.g. meeting ROC, compliance deadlines with stakeholders, Banking documentation, maintaining audit documentations, and other ad-hoc investor requests
Desired Profile
Awaaz.De is open to candidates of all backgrounds. Ideally, you have/are:
4 to 5 years experience working in a company of 25 to 100 individuals, Startup experience and having successfully executed an institutional equity investment round would be a plus.
Management experience with 2+ direct reportees is required
Chartered Accountant with 5-8 years of experience in similar role with FP&A experience
Demonstrated achievement of financial planning, budget & forecast development to set business targets (preferably in SaaS/service industry)
Excellent proficiency with MS office & G suite
Strong verbal and written English communications skills is a must
Organized, resourceful to perform ad-hoc requests.
