Your Role:
The position of Business Analyst is established for the purpose of providing technical support to FP&A team. The suitable candidate would need the following attributes for the position:
Strong financial skills and exposure to banking/treasury systems and how they integrate into the Financial ERP application and the Regulatory Reporting application.
Exposure to banking processes, reporting and systems knowledge around one or more product areas such as call and current accounts, commercial loans and credit products, fx products and one or more functional areas such as credit risk, finance, payments, treasury etc.
Ability to quickly gain a full understanding of products, proprietary systems and internal policy. Previous experience in assisting with the integration and change management of financial data into a regulatory application would be desirable.
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of complex banking transactions and related configuration options
Knowledge of at least one FS system application, including Temenos, Oracle, SAP, etc.
Significant experience of finance systems, finance transformation initiatives and Financial System processes including:
Ability to gain thorough understanding of current finance systems architecture:
systems migration/implementation
general ledger strategy including core finance ledger and Banking sub-ledger
regulatory, statutory and management reporting
finance, risk and treasury integration
product accounting solutions
finance and regulatory operating model design and implementation
integration of finance, risk & treasury solutions
information management and BI
Main Job Functions/Tasks
Understand existing integration of T24, Oracle and One Sum X systems
Assist with the preparation of the month end outputs from T24 for FP&A reporting and the Masterfile data for Regulatory Reporting
Calculation & validation of T24 postings/General Ledger Balances, Interface Mapping
Collate and validate information, examining inputs and outputs, providing summary reports and validation of finance calculations to ensure the FP&A and Regulatory Reporting are accurate and complete
Assist with change management and future developments which would impact FP&A and Regulatory reporting outputs in T24, Oracle and One Sum X
Assist with Finance testing, developing training materials, and support to the wider finance community. Demonstrate a proven track record in delivering high quality project or work stream outputs
Education, Qualifications and Skills Required
Strong knowledge in T24 Banking and treasury modules, knowledge of the Accounting modules and tables with experience in setting-up T24 General Ledger
T24 Financial Accounting experience to include Profit & Loss, Finance Reconciliation, reconciliation of accounting data back to underlying transactions and reporting in general Ledger
3+ years financial services, with a proven track record of delivering change. Solid project based experience of working in a Finance function would be advantageous. Accounting qualification or experience in Bank Finance department is highly desirable.
