Your role
Do you have sharp analytical, accounting, reporting and technical skill? An exciting opportunity is available in Disclosures team where you will be responsible for:
Preparation and review of Financial control packs for IB and NCL divisions.Review of quarterly financial disclosure such as Derivatives, Debt issued etcReview of various quarterly forms prepared by team members and submitted to Group Accounting.Co-ordinating with senior stakeholders and getting their confirmation and resolving queriesContributing to the deck which is presented to the divisional controllers and which become the basis for quarterly CFO sign off.Conducting and review of various pre and post data quality checks to ensure correctness of data.Conducting various leger control checks and taking corrective action.
Analyzing MOM movement of Balance Sheet and providing commentary wherever relevant.Acting as a single point of contact for the designated area of work within the team and actively participate in process improvement.Quality checking of the work done by peers and handling adhoc queries from clients.
Your team
You will be working in the Disclosures team under Group Accounting Policy (GAP) within Group Finance India. This is a global team which covers various regions such as UK, Zurich, APAC etc.
Your expertise
1. Should be a qualified CA/ MBA with 7+ years of experience.
2. Experience of managing a review role.
3. Experience of working in Investment Banking industry.
4. Good knowledge of IFRS 9 including classification.
5. Good understanding of various banking products like Futures, Swaps, Bonds, IRS, CDS etc.

6. Strong analytical skills as well as excellent problem solving skills.

7. Experience working with multiple stakeholder including Internal and external audit
8. Excellent MS Office skills. Excel spreadsheet skills should include ability to work on huge excel files with multiple tabs and complex formulas and ability to manipulate data e.g. Pivot tables

9. Knowledge of optimization tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, PowerBI etc will be added advantage.
