Your tasks
In this role, the Site HSE Officer will support the System Integration team in Health, Safety and Environmental matters.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for ensuring that the HSE Management policy, plans and procedures are established, implemented effectively and are suitable for their purposes and use for which they are intended.
Ensure HSE performance statistics are developed and communicated and that any issues which arise are reported and resolved in a timely manner.
Ensure a formal risk assessment process is developed, implemented and maintained for any tasks taking place.
Ensure HSE inspections and reports and correspondences are collected, analyzed and communicated.
Ensures the adequate functioning of the HSE management system and improve it including HSE training, audits and inspections, PTW, equipment inspection, emergency drills and incentive program etc.
Provide advice and support to N&M employees and management on the processes and procedures required to deliver HSE objectives ad any HSE issues which arises.
Support in the day to day management of all HSE programs, training, permitting, and equipment inspections managers in collaboration with construction team.
Ensure qualified and trained personnel is assigned to the task, if necessary, specify and arrange and/or develop trainings for personnel.
Continuously assess the site conditions by inspecting regularly all work areas and developing recommendations to the attention of management.
Evaluate and manage any subcontractor’s HSE Supervision, subcontractor’s HSE Management System and monitor subcontractor HSE Management System for continuous improvement.
Participates and chair the necessary meetings: HSE department meeting, HSE meetings with subcontractors, HSE management meeting.
Monitoring compliance and co-ordinate all the HSE activities.
Ensure induction of all employees and undertake regular toolbox talks with assigned personnel.
Ensure that all relevant health & safety records are maintained.
Investigate the cause of accident, establish preventive countermeasure and report the result to management within specific time frame.
Your profile
If you are a diligent, collaborative and compliant HSE professional looking to step up and be part of exciting projects, then look no further! We’re seeking someone who has:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Environment, Occupational Safety & Health or Engineering from a recognized institute
A current relevant health and safety qualification (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma/IOSH/CSP Certificate or equivalent)
Full conversant with International HSE standards, codes and industry practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to use Microsoft Office systems particularly: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Skype.
Experience as HSE Management System relevant position minimum 8 years
Experience in ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.
Excellent legislative knowledge and the ability to implement and manage HSE legislation
Ability to keep clear and accurate records and reports
Effective collaboration and facilitation skills; this is a team-based environment with interaction among team members and the client
Goal-oriented, committed, self-motivated, ability to work independently and take initiative.
