Position : Jr. Accountant
Job Description : Roles & Responsibilities: -Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries.Providing support to the Accounting Department with their day-to-day functions by performing entry-level accounting duties.Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals.Recording and filing cash transactions.Controlling credit and chasing debt.Invoice processing and filing.Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve.Bank reconciliation.Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets, etc.Skills Required: – Should be proficiency in MS Excel and Tally ERP 9.Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software.Ability to work as part of a team.High level of accuracy.Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.Experience & Educational Qualification Required: -2-3 years of relevant, hands-on accounting experience.Bachelor’s degree preferred in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or similar field.Note: -First preference for the candidates from Chennai.Office Location: – Ashok Nagar, Vada Palani.Job Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: ₹15,000.00 – ₹20,000.00 per monthSchedule:Morning shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Vadapalani, Chennai – 600083, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
