In order to meet the growing needs of our Italian team, Valuement Middle East is looking for a:
Junior Business Analyst
to join the Audit business unit in Dubai

Responsibilities:
Work on Auditing projects with an experienced and motivated team, in a dynamic industry, with challenging opportunities and high development potential. Your main tasks will include:
Your main activities will consist in:
Define and lead complex and / or important projects for one or more client(s).
Assess, understand or anticipate the client needs and desired outcomes.
Help define new standards or best practice that others will follow.
Provide feedback and advice to senior management on significant technical issues.
Build strong client relationship, focus to understanding client expectation (from management and top management).
Respond proactively to new client needs.
Develop, structure and interpret financial analysis of clients through efficient collaboration with other analysts from the team, with the IT manager and Auditing manger.
Be accountable for deliverables to (1) direct responsible, (2) client-staff & management, (3) 3rd party vendors / partners.
Link and corroborate data from multiple sources (accounting, logistic, commercial) and from multiple formats (databases, reports, contracts, e-mails). Understand and interpret client’s electronic data, performing complex analysis in order to identify the likely causes of loss of income (double payments, unregistered credit notes, unapplied sales allowance).
Review and analyse contracts, commercial agreements, paperwork, electronic documents. Inspect and evaluate client’s financial information including buyers’ files, purchase orders, invoices for identify potential revenue leakage.
Detect anomalies, investigate other potential sources of revenue leakage, propose course of action.
Actively contact vendors as part of the claim production process; independently produce written correspondences to vendor inquiries with the scope of obtaining validation of the uncollected amounts and reconciling the financial differences. Meet vendor representatives (KA, etc.) to discuss outstanding amounts.
Communicate with the client’s suppliers for follow-ups regarding the collection of the leaked income.
Provide periodic reports and other feedback to Valuement management or direct responsible related to progress and any issues affecting client relationship.
Build, develop and maintain a constructive relationship and engagement with the key client contacts and its vendors
Technical and Soft Skills:
We are looking for:
6 m- 1y of professional experience in client facing, Audit / Banking / Retail / Controlling / Financial Real Estate.
Experience in Retail or FMCG is considered a plus.
Strong financial and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with English.
Open-minded, critical thinker with problem-solving abilities, passionate about retail industry, motivated to improve.
