Job Description : Main duties

Red palm weevil production and colony maintenance:
Ensure the adult crosses necessary to obtain the required number weevil eggs and adults per week
Adult food preparation
Larvae food preparation: synthetic diet cooking and sugarcane processing
Egg and 1st instar larvae collection
Individual larvae transfer to fresh food until pupation
Pupa collection and processing for adults
Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory
Collect and log rearing data

Minimum Qualification
High school graduate at least

Preferred Qualification
High school graduate at least
