Role Responsibilities
To provide support and work in close partnership with the BPM’s, Country leads and finance stakeholders for business performance monitoring and analysis.
Support the requirements for performance reviews and executive meetings such as Client journey & Regional COO monthly performance reviews.
Support the requirements for performance reviews and executive meetings such as Reviews with Regional COO.
Process streamline and innovation of workflow/procedures.
Support the requirements of monthly and quarterly country performance reviews with the product heads by preparing relevant financials, analytics and presentations.
Provide timely & accurate financial information / MIS to enable strategic decision making.
Perform & Support the coordination and support during forecasting, budgeting and monthly reporting cycles with client journey finance heads and Regional / Country finance functions.
Analyse business performance (management and financial), review highlight risks and opportunities and drive actions to ensure committed financial outcome.
E2E responsibilities of GBS functions.
E2E ownership of Operations recharges process for CPBB Ops.
Perform all other adhoc assignments that might be entrusted time to time.

Financial Controls

Ensure robust financial processes in place to report revenue, cost and balance sheet for CPBB Ops CJ’s in an accurate and timely manner.
Ensure compliance with Group / IFRS accounting principles and practices, Financial Control policy, and other regulatory accounting guidelines.

Team Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness
End to end support to the CPBB Ops Finance team covering all aspetcs for e.g. business performance reports, analytics, planning and partnering with various finance and business stakeholders.
Lead and manage the team and to develop the staff to take up different/more value added roles.
Contribute in any ad-hoc finance related projects, including providing support to Finance Transformation initiatives as well as simplification of bank process.

Our Ideal Candidate
Chartered Accountant or MBA with 10+ years of relevant finance experience in FP&A.
Qualified accountant / Finance Professional.
A mature finance profession with relevant experience in financial services industry.
Experienced in corporate banking products, booking models, accounting treatments.
Sound understanding of international accounting standards requirements, business analysis techniques, risk management methodologies, project management techniques.
A high degree of integrity and ability to challenge the views and actions of others in a constructive manner.
Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi task, lead through ambiguities, influence where he/she does not have direct authority & build on unstructured formative situations.
A leader, a team player with the management ability and track record to secure the confidence and respect of the peers, stakeholders and the executive management team.
Strong Analytical and Strategic mindset, coupled with a thorough understanding of business performance management outcomes.
Should have worked in a business finance function with strong FP&A background.
Ability to understand and connect business drivers and rationale for and application of those relevant to the Performance management process.
Significant experience of working with senior management team and of interfacing with and influencing senior stakeholders.
Strong ability to understand financial statements and its drivers and synthesize them into meaningful analyses as required. Develop analysis & interpretations as required to facilitate management decision making.
Ability to culturally orient in diverse & international team environment and lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Competencies & Experience
Strong Analytical and Strategic mindset, coupled with a thorough understanding of Finance.
Experience of having led large teams including senior & experienced professionals.
Have worked in Financial Planning & Analysis, Variance Analysis, Stakeholder management, MI Reporting.
Ability to understand and connect business drivers and rationale for and application of those relevant to the Performance management process.
Significant experience of working with senior management team and of interfacing with and influencing senior stakeholders.
Strong ability to understand financial statements and its drivers and synthesize them into meaningful analyses as required. Develop analysis & interpretations as required to facilitate management decision making.
