Role Purpose-

This is an exciting time to join the Coats Digital global marketing team in this new position, working closely with the global marketing and sales teams. Reporting to the Global Marketing Director, you will be a highly motivated, creative and experienced content marketer, able to develop highly targeted campaign assets (including ABM campaigns), contribute to the quarterly newsletter and support other lead generation activities (including, events, webinars and partner initiatives) to drive pipelie growth into key target accounts, develop cross-sell and up-sell opportunities into existing customer accounts and help us to increase our brand awareness.
As Marketing Manager, you will bring passion, ambition and an entrepreneurial spirit to the role. With strong copywriting and campaign execution experience in a fast-paced environment, you will have a business-oriented approach to reporting on results of individual assets as well as broader campaigns, and a collaborative attitude working with the sales organisation, marketing colleagues and other departments inside and outside of Coats Digital.
You will have the ability to think strategically while being strong on the tactical/execution side. You should have a successful track record of partnering with multiple disciplines across the business (including sales, group marketing, customer success, digital/creative teams, corporate communications and alliances) to drive visibility, engagement and demand in net new target accounts as well as existing customer accounts.
Principal Accountabilities and Key Activities
The key tasks in your new and exciting role with us:
Work with the Marketing Director to define and create compelling campaigns that will maximise engagement with our target audience of apparel manufacturers and brands. Campaign assets may include email/nurture campaigns, eBooks and paid promotions.
Support the Marketing Campaigns Manager with the development of a quarterly newsletter and assist, as required, with the coordination of any content translations, working with a translation agency, and managing internal review cycles.
Produce high-quality, well-researched content to drive traffic, engage and convert target prospects. Content includes blogs, thought leadership articles, event assets, webinar material, video scripts, presentation content, sales assets and website copy.
Support the Marketing Director and Marketing Campaigns Manager with the creation of ABM assets that will positively impact pipeline growth within key target accounts and deliver business outcomes in line with the organisation’s goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, customer success, alliances, marketing and other stakeholders to meet and exceed the marketing plan objectives.
Focus on the buyers’ journey and selected personas, leveraging insights into content and channel preference by persona mapped to sales stages to deliver the right message via the right channel at the right time.
Copywrite, edit and review content for messaging, style guidelines, brand consistency, and tone of voice; provide education and guidance to ensure high-quality writing for all Coats Digital content.
Work with our inhouse creative team and external agencies to develop visually compelling graphics that support the asset while maintaining brand guidelines, to drive high engagement.
Support the participation in and execution of events, including online webinars, industry events, customer roadshows and workshops.
Ensure that any content developed incorporates keywords to aid SEO. Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure alignment.
Measure and report on campaign/activity effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
Undertake, as requested, other activities that may be outside of your area of focus but contribute to the overall success of Coats Digital.

Education, Qualifications and Experience
(Include skills and competencies required to perform the role competently)
Essential
Significant experience in a SaaS B2B marketing role, including copywriting, content development and demand generation, preferably in an international environment
Exceptional copywriting skills, with evidence of a successful track record of developing and executing B2B demand gen programmes, inclusive of executive level, and customer facing marketing programmes
A multi-tasking self-starter who is confident liaising with a wide-range of stakeholders, able to translate ideas into reality with little guidance
Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to pivot and problem-solve
Team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and has the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, geographies and cultures
Excellent communicator, both verbal and written with the ability to engage at all levels and functions
Ability to work independently and as as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and high personal standards
In depth knowledge of digital marketing techniques
Organised with the ability to deliver to agreed deadlines

Desirable
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent marketing related qualification
Familiarity with WeChat and B2B channels to market in China
Experience of fashion and textile industry
Respect and knowledge of the fundamentals of PR and SEO and how they integrate
Experience with marketing automation systems, ideally Hubspot
Experience with CRM systems, MS Dynamics CRM preferred
Experience creating targeted ad campaigns on LinkedIn
