The APAC Marketing organization is a tight-knit and highly motivated team who are passionate about Poly product and solution.
The overall objective for this role is to develop marketing strategies and implement plans that enable effective marketing of Poly products through our different channels of distribution and improve Poly performance.
Whilst we have a high touch sales model in most countries, Poly only sells through partners and distribution. The dynamics of the Headsets, video and Voice business are different which present challenges in meeting the needs of the different sales models sometimes required. Additionally, the data, voice and video market are gravitating to a Cloud delivery model which is changing the partner landscape and the opportunity for Poly. Candidates for this role need to understand the dynamics of the cloud, collaboration and device that empower this collaboration. The candidate should also be well versed with the tactics that may be involved to bring about marketing performance in support of business priorities. The role may require some travel, however we expect all employees to use our equipment to collaborate both internally and with external parties, on a daily basis, and actively encourage this work ethic to save both costs and to work towards a greener planet.

Your day to day:
Working with key internal stakeholders, described above, to understand sales imperatives to be able to align the territory’s channel, sales & marketing objectives.
Lead and facilitate business and marketing planning between Poly and its partners, which will include segmentation, targeting industry/audience, offering and positioning of the Poly brand in key market segments in line with Partner capabilities.
Provide direction and inputs to the Poly partners in the execution of their Poly related marketing initiatives, to facilitate effectiveness and ensure that initiatives ultimately impact end user customers, growing pipeline in the channel and measuring their ROI.
Plan and give directions to marketing agencies for lead qualification, to build a high-performance lead to sales development process that will increase the quality of pipeline and revenue conversion rates.
Identify and work with key stakeholders in partner organizations to facilitate the flow of pertinent information to the partners to enable their planning and implementation processes.
Be responsible for approval of JMF (joint marketing fund) activities, in conformity with the guidelines and investment strategy.
Monitor the use and application of Poly brand and logo by the partner community and provide feedback and alerts to the partner where/when nonconformity exists.
Obtain timely feedback from partners on sales and marketing initiatives for analysis and reporting purposes.
Work with the partners to harness their skills, resources, and customer contacts to drive local demand generation and / or awareness / enablement activities.
Plan and execute lead generation activities. Involves planning and implementation of local activities that may or may not be partner focused.
Coordinate with PR team, working with communications personnel and Head of Marketing for media releases and story pitches.
Update and maintain website such as coordinating translations, ensuring latest press releases are uploaded, promotion banners, case studies etc.
Adapt, localize and produce marketing communication materials, collaterals, and sales tools relevant to Korea and SEA marketing where necessary
Take ownership and roll out Poly corporate and regional initiatives as required.
Propose processes, systems, initiatives and where applicable, develop and implement them to ensure maximum return on Poly’s resources invested in channel activities. The resources include but not limited to; Poly JMF funds, Poly’s online tools (Poly Partner Connect; Eloqua, SFDC, etc.), training program, people and time.
Comply with the internal reporting requirements and feedback mechanisms including keeping the Head of Marketing up to date with developments in the assigned territory on a regular basis. This includes and not limited to budget & financial administration, lead management reports and analysis via SalesForce.com (SFDC) and database update and management via Eloqua.

What you bring to the team:
Management or Marketing Degree
Basic IT / Telco knowledge
8 to 10 years in marketing or sales related field. Preferably, a proven track record working for major IT vendor or industry of similar type /pace
Channel & Field marketing experience essential with a focus on demand generation and campaign management
English proficiency (speak, read and writing)
Articulate, good presentation skills
Business level written and spoken English is a requirement
They should be a self-starter; able to analyse the marketplace and develop localized strategies that complement those of regional and corporate teams
Results and action orientated.
Broad marketing experience is necessary with understanding of B to B Marketing, Channel marketing, Direct and Digital marketing techniques are critical. (This includes but not limited to having ability to build up offerings, promotional campaign, compelling value messages based on local initiatives and requirements).
High level understanding of the organization strategy (vision and objective) and the role of Marketing toward achieving the objective.
Strong planning and organizational skills to prioritize and implement only what can be executed effectively, within limited budgets and to best achieve the business goals
Ability to manage across and up through the matrix organization structure and in terms of channel relations.
Sound communication skills that provides a platform for building business relationships with internal and external stakeholders along with the skill to position organization resources for partner success with Poly solutions.
Ability to deal with ambiguity and propose a resolution/resolve problem
Direct, hands-on experience across the marketing tactics like events, production, digital marketing, search, social media etc.
Ability to engage the Sales Team and Channel Partners (at a senior principal level) using the processes of business and marketing plan execution as a guideline for marketing investment.
Clear understanding of the principles of ROI.
The candidate must be a team player as the company is still young but very fast-growing in APAC and rely on supporting each other to maximize opportunities.
