Job Description : We are currently looking for Senior Accountant to join our business at the earliest at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Senior Accountant, you will be involved in:
Maintaining financial data of the business as per the accounting principles.
Will be the custodian of cash receipts
Keep track of expenses and keeping a check on those
Ensure proper bills and vouchers are prepared
Ensure receivables and payables are followed up on time
Able to maintain and manage filing of the company with various departments like Income Tax, MCA and GST.
Besides technical skills, we would like to hire a person who is honest and has high integrity.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
The person should have:
At-least 2 – 3 years of experience in managing accounts
You should be clear with accounting fundamentals
Have working knowledge of Tally ERP 9 with GST
Should be hands-on using Word, Excel, Google Sheets. Knows major formulas of accounting
Should have knowledge of taxation fundamentals like TDS, GST
Comfortable in dealing with banks, vendors and suppliers
Should be able to prepare financial reports like cash flows/ balance sheets etc
