The operations department is where the TikTok community is served, and where creators and users are assisted to enjoy their experience on the platform. It is core in the cross-functional work and a main support functional unit.

Creators play a huge role day to day in driving our mission forward. We are looking for well-established talents, close to the field of sports, to foster and accelerate the growth of the sports community creators.

Job Description:

As a Sports Partnership Manager, you will develop innovative approaches and tactics, for different sports creators (existing and new), to foster an enticing ecosystem of diverse video content on TikTok.
You will closely monitor the sports landscape, supporting day-to-day partner management, developing narratives as well as tentpole strategic and cross-functional initiatives to ensure our partners are positioned for success and our users have access to the best local content and community possible.
Ideal candidates for this role will have a passion for sports, great content, an extensive understanding of both traditional and digital media, as well as TikTok’s unique value proposition, and a proven background of working with relevant partners to find success and generate data-driven experiences.
You will directly support the team lead, with the potential to directly own relationships with a portfolio of partners. This role also requires close cross-functional collaboration with colleagues in Marketing, Programming, Sales, and PR, in addition to various TikTok teams around the world.

Requirements

Acquire new sports influencers/celebrities through engaging one-on-one; via email and social media channels, as well as at live events
Define, maintain, and evolve the overall sports creators’ (new and existing) relations and strategy
Assist in managing online and offline events with sports influencers and celebrities
Resolve issues with and between influencers and celebrities in a timely and professional manner
Activate sports influencers and celebrities, manage them across all internal teams’ requirements, and deliver regular reporting
Train influencers and celebrity athletes on how to create diversified content, through conducting regular workshops, gathering insights and requirements, and providing valuable tips and approaches on how to TikTok
Daily communicate with influencers and maintain a good relationship between them and the TikTok brand
Track performance of individual creators and campaigns, using internal and third-party tools, and present weekly reports of activities, activation, issues, and coverage.
Maintain constant communication-and-feedback loop with marketing, PR, and Product
Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Community to create campaigns to activate content creators/influencers/celebrities
Identify and implement additional operations improvements across the team. Support Team Development/Community Development.
Research new market trends as well as user insights to leverage them into impactful marketing activities.
Be the advocate internally on behalf of the creators to ensure their needs are met
Great communication skills in both Arabic and English
3+ years experience related to influencer marketing in the Middle East, and influencer management.
Solid understanding of digital content/strategy making, digital video, entertainment/social platforms
Experience in sports management/sports events/sports landscape in MENA (talent management is a plus)
Strong analytical skillset is preferred, including comfort with sheets (numbers) and presentations.
Extensive network of contacts and influencer relationships
Be able to work as a coordinator and a supporter.
Collaborative team player, action-oriented, and a strong drive for results.
BS/MS degree in journalism, media, communications, marketing, English, or PR preferred.
Passion for sports, and creating and managing virtual communities (please include your TikTok username along with your application).
