Job Description : ROLE PURPOSE:

Procurement & Supply Chain Management Lead for Non-Operated Assets is accountable to manage 3rd party spend efficiently and effectively by providing strategic perspective. The incumbent acts as the point of contact for the MP Non-Operated assets to support the implementation of the Joint Ventures/Joint Operating Companies’ Procurement and Supply Chain Management strategies to deliver maximum value from the Company’s non-operated assets.
The role involve participation in development and implementation of a PSCM strategy for Non-Operated Assets activities in line with best practices and JV/JOA rights and obligations. Gather market intelligence, leverage and promote JV/JOAs best practices within MP. Provide expert counsel to MP JV/JOC Asset Managers (Non-Operated Assets Leadership) on key strategic decisions (e.g., procurement plans, contracting strategies, award recommendations and supply chain risks and mitigations).
This role reports to the Head of Procurement & SCM.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Be a member of PSCM Functional Leadership Team
Be accountable for the overall performance and health of PSCM governance within Non-operated Asset.
Be senior PSCM representative with NOC / Government, Partners and Operators, manage engagements pro-actively and provide information to relevant external stakeholders.
To be the single point of contact for senior stakeholders, including management of local content and cost recovery to drive efficiencies and manage operational risks for Non-Operated Assets.
Support management of strategic suppliers, working with Non-Operated Assets Operator to understand critical supplier’s performance scorecard.
Influence the setting and prioritization of category management plans in accordance with Non-Operated Assets business priorities and objectives with the alignment of category and leadership stakeholders.
Be PSCM point of contact in case of crisis and fraud events to understand and mitigate operational risk and associated costs.
Provide senior level (strategic inputs) input into the development of regional strategy, Master Service Agreements, Global Agreements and other framework agreements for global or multi-region sourcing events.
Promote compliance with MP’s Code of Conduct, ensuring by personal example and coaching that the team understand and practice ethical business behaviour, and using reasonable care to monitor suppliers, partners and contractors working with MP partners to ensure they work in a manner consistent with the Code of Conduct.
Demonstrates the MP Values and Behaviours expected within the organization
Lead integration of input into Non-Operated Assets risk register for cross-functional PSCM input
Understand, and continuously influence activities focused on reducing cost.
Qualification:

University degree (4 years Bachelor degree) or equivalent in supply chain management, economics, finance, operations or related field, with a Master Degree preferred.
MCIPS (Full Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply) or equivalent professional P&SCM qualification is desirable.
Experience & Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior roles in Procurement and Supply Chain Management in Upstream Oil and Gas companies with reputable Operator.
Good international oil and gas contracting skills with knowledge in Terms and Conditions for high risk/high-value contracts
Knowledgeable about oil and gas Category Management
Good understanding of International Oil and Gas exploration contracts, such as Joint Operating Agreements, Production Sharing Agreements, and other contracts typical of the E&P industry
