Responsibilities:
Define the product vision and product strategy in the short term and long term.
Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
Ability to clearly understand customer needs, wants and desires.
Identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve customer experience and drive growth.
Take vague or idea level inputs, and turn them into detailed requirements
Develop a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and build differentiators to create an edge over other products in the market.
Understand, research, and follow product trends in the industry and in general.
Follow competitors and conduct capability analysis regularly.
Create buy-in for the product vision within the team.
Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
Drive product launches including working with marketing team, executives, and other product management team members.
Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
Ability to work well with internal teams, including sales, marketing and engineering to build a truly global product roadmap.
Taking ownership along with the Engineering team to execute and deliver.
Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services.
Provide internal teams and customers training on how to use the product.
Answer incoming questions from sales, customer success teams about the product and its capabilities.
Own the product metrics. You will own the product adoption and client NPS.
Constantly analyzes the product performance against ROI and other metrics and drives to improve performance.
Deliver BRDs/Product specs and write user stories etc.
Gather insights from across teams within the organization and conduct external research and usability studies to understand how customers are interacting with the product and develop enhancements based on the analysis.
Continuously improve existing products and features to drive higher conversion and engagement.
Desired Skill Set /Preferred Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years of proven experience working with world-class product companies in product management, preferably Edtech, on both mobile and desktop.
Entrepreneurial mindset to achieve the product vision.
Passionate about UI/UX, ability to create examples through wireframes and mockups.
A data driven analyst who uses user research, customer, other stakeholder feedback, and competitive insights as inputs to conceptualize and prioritize product requirements.
Ability to work with a diverse set of stakeholders, knows how to interact and build relationships across all teams and with customers.
Proficient in Product Development (writing user stories, product specs), PDLC, and Product Management (driving usage, etc.).
Experience in running rigorous A/B tests across desktop, mobile web, and apps.
Strong data analysis capabilities and experience with Web and App analytics tools.
Ability to operate in a very fast-paced, constantly changing and evolving environment.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Design thinking, user empathy and deep understanding of customers
Minimum B.Tech experience.
