As a Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the creation and execution of the industry-specific marketing strategy that demonstrates 8×8’s unique combination of technological leadership and industry experience. This role will develop and maintain industry-specific knowledge such as customer problems, use case scenarios, buyer ecosystems, purchase motivators, and personas to underpin the development of competitive differentiation points for sales, to inform product roadmap decisions and to create compelling, relevant content. Leveraging an in-depth understanding of the target industries, this role will develop product value propositions, positioning and messaging that define the brand, differentiate 8×8 vs competitors and demonstrate relevance to the key personas.
In the Product Marketing Manager role, you will use a number of outlets to evangelize 8×8’s position in the marketplace including blogging, social media, the website, press, industry events, presentations, datasheets, white papers, videos, primary and secondary research and customer case studies. You will work closely with senior product management leadership and functional departments including Demand Generation, Product Management, Product Marketing, and Sales to proactively support the field and partner channels with effective positioning, marketing assets, product education, and competitive differentiation.
Requirements
A solid track record of Product, Vertical or Solution Marketing experience, ideally with a SaaS solution provider.
Excellent knowledge of Vertical Marketing, Product Marketing and/or Product Management practices
Excellent analytical, presentation and oral communication skills
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, creative team atmosphere
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties
Any experience within the UCaaS/CCaaS market is beneficial

Responsibilities and Duties
Identify, develop and maintain industry-specific knowledge such as customer problems, use case scenarios, buyer ecosystem, purchase motivators, and personas that underpin the development of competitive differentiation points for sales, to inform product decisions and create preference with buyers.
Develop industry-relevant product value propositions, positioning and messaging that define the brand, differentiate 8×8 vs competitors and demonstrate relevance to the target buyers.
Translate product-specific features into industry-relevant benefits that buyers and users can understand, care about, and are willing to pay for.
Create and deploy industry-specific marketing materials and collateral specifically designed for each stage of the buyer’s journey and key personas. Translate technical capabilities into relevant benefits to create content in the form of ebooks, blogs, articles, videos, solution overviews, magazines, podcasts and digital marketing assets designed to build awareness,
Ensure sales, partners and internal teams are enabled to successfully evangelize the 8×8 story for the targeted verticals with accurate and up-to-date sales tools and content relevant to each stage of the buyer’s journey.
Collaborate with Sales teams to provide Solution and Vertical Marketing support where needed including product roadmap reviews, case studies, ROI proof points and web content to support pipeline volume and velocity.
Work closely with product management and product marketing to help shape the product roadmap based on feedback and experience from interactions with customers, prospects, partners, analysts, and industry experts.
Drive primary research, segmentation analysis and 1:1 customer interviews that underpin thought leadership and industry-specific content development. Own competitive intelligence and analysis for your target vertical, including win-loss, competitive positioning.
Evangelize your products, solutions and industry best practices to support closing deals through product presentations and demonstrations to the field and customers (trade shows, roadshows, customer briefings, webinars).
Establish a leading online experience for the targeted industries.
Drive primary research, segmentation analysis and 1:1 customer interviews that underpin thought leadership and product-specific content development. Own competitive intelligence and analysis for your product line, including win-loss, competitive positioning.
Evangelize your products, Solutions and best practices to support closing deals through product presentations and demonstrations to the field and customers (tradeshows, roadshows, customer briefings, webinars).
Required Experience and Qualifications
Experience: 5 – 6 years in Product Marketing( Required )
Graduation: Bachelor’s Degree( Required )
Proficient in English( Required )
