Job Description : Your field of responsibility
Credit Risk PB (CR PB) vertical part of Risk & Finance IT in Credit Suisse, supports the Credit & Liquidity Risk Management group within the risk division, responsible for Credit Risk Management, Scenario Analysis, Risk Consolidation, Risk Capital, Risk Based P&L and the quants responsible for risk measurement models and pricing model validation. The team within CR PB delivers the quality assurance and testing services for these systems during the various stages of the lifecycle.
Role
The Test Analyst will be part of the CR PB team who will be involved in preparation, execution of testing activities as part of the SDLC and STLC process for one or more projects of the Credit Risk systems working with Test Leads & reporting to the Test Delivery Manager. This role offers the candidate a great opportunity to learn and exhibit both manual and automation testing skills for the challenging requirements of Credit Risk domain.
Responsibilities
The Test Analyst will be responsible for the following:
Work closely with application Business Analysts, Test Leads, Dev leads and Test Managers to understand business/functional requirements in the assigned project(s)/system(s) across Credit Risk portfolio
Review Requirements, Specifications and supporting documents and understand what needs to be tested
Participate in walkthroughs, Test Case Reviews with relevant teams/partners
Design, build and implement comprehensive test scenarios, test cases and test data based on the requirements.
Identify, craft and implement automated tests as per project requirements.
Drive Test Automation in the respective projects.
Create SQL queries to test databases and run data reconciliation
Carry out testing as per the defined procedures & report defects, define severity and priority for each defect
Daily/ Weekly reporting on testing progress to Test Lead/Test Manager
To participate in team activities and highlight any issues concerns to Test manager, Lead or management partners
Adhering to planned dates to meet project targets.

Your skills and experience
To excel in this role, you should possess:

Essential:
5 to 8 years of Quality Assurance and Testing professional with Automation experience is essential
Proven knowledge of STLC and testing methodologies
Agile/DevOps models understanding
Proven experience in testing methods, tools, metrics, and technology
Hands on experience in Test Planning and Estimation, Test Case Preparation, Test Execution and Defect Reporting
Strong technical background with experience in Oracle/SQL Databases
Good understanding of Data base validations
Experience in both front and backend testing
Hands on Experience in Test automation.
Good Knowledge of Automation tools like HP UFT, Selenium, and other test automation tools
Experience in test automation for large complex systems desirable
Experience in using JIRA and HP Quality Centre / ALM (or equivalent tools)
An ambitious with strong analytical problem solving skills and decision-making attitude
Excellent soft skills, including communication, time management

Desirable:
BE / MSc degree in IT
Experience of working in Investment Banking / Risk Management domain
