Our successful F&B Hostesses …
manage all tasks of service preparation, including meeting and briefings, promotion specs, menus, wine lists, and operating equipment
access and interpret environmental, hygiene and safety policies and legislative requirements for efficient implementation
fulfil service requirements promptly and with a positive approach
build a competent and motivated team across all departments through effective communications, and confident and caring leadership
work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards.
ensure excellent customer service levels are maintained when engaging with guest and seeing to the guest requests
ensure all administrative functions of the guest services areas are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, with strict adherence to the hotel’s standards and procedures
manage reservation systems
greet and seat guests
handle guest complaints • At least one year’s experience in similar type of industry and position
Must have worked and have knowledge of all day and/or fine dining
Must be able to work shifts
Be able to liaise with guests
Be able to make and follow up on guest bookings
Have knowledge of POS Micros
Be able to handle cash transactions
Computer competancy
