6 years of experience in Sales compensation administration, including experience with attainment and compensation tools (e.g., Anaplan, Callidus, OIC, Xactly).
Experience using SQL or R to extract and manipulate quantitative data.
Experience with people management.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in working with large datasets.
Ability to effectively communicate and influence at sales executive level.
Excellent analytical and modeling skills.
Effective attention to detail.

As a Sales Compensation Administration Manager, you will be part of the Sales Operations team, which defines go-to-market, designs compensation plans, and calculates/assigns goals and coverage. You will partner closely with the Google Cloud Sales team, which engages prospects and clients to close agreements (i.e. with a strong focus on Enterprise companies), and you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy of transactions.
In this role, you will be the Sales Compensation Administration Manager for the Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) Organization. You will also engage with the SMB Sales leaders and Sales teams to explain compensation policies, and respond to inquiries when required (i.e. engage on most complex cases) and resolve tickets.
You’ll lead a team of specialists/analysts, define team vision and individual responsibilities, and provide coaching. You will also partner cross-functionally across Sales, Sales Operations, Finance (e.g., FP&A, Finance Operations, Accounting), Business Intelligence, Systems and Technology team, HR, and Legal. You will also drive scaling and automation to minimize manual work, in coordination with the Central Sales Compensation team, and build automated reporting.

Responsibilities
Manage the implementation of compensation plan for APAC/Japan Sales team per design, crediting rules in compensation system tool. Oversee annual participant set up in the compensation system tool and ensure accuracy and timeliness of bonuses.
Ensure that new hires are onboard in time and accurately.
Oversee quarterly calculation and communication of compensation transactions for the APAC/Japan Sales team. Ensure high-quality output, in compliance with policies.
Coordinate the exceptions for submission to the Compensation Exceptions Committee (CEC).
Perform monthly attainment audits identifying outliers and drivers impacting high bonuses.
