Summary:
The work schedule for this position is Full Time (40 hours per week)

Duties
Note: All applicants must currently hold or be able to acquire a UAE residency visa to fill the position. For non-UAE national, the Mission assists in obtaining the required residency visa to lawfully work in the UAE. Ref. to Eligibility Question #2 and Vacancy Question #1: If a non-UAE national has a valid UAE residency visa, they should answer Yes to Eligibility Q#2 and Vacancy Q#1, and attach a copy of residency visa.
Basic Function of the Position:

Job holder provides security for U.S. personnel and facilities by conducting guard operations as a member of a tactical team of guard personnel. Members observe, recognize, and report potential surveillance and other suspicious incidents directed against U.S. Government facilities and/or personnel and initiate emergency responses to possible hostile actions, as necessary, to safeguard life and property.

Qualifications and Evaluations
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of one (1) year of military, policy, or private experience in the field of security is required.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: Applicant MUST provide required documentation. See below the Required Document Tab.
Education Requirements:
Completion of high school is required.

Evaluations:
This may be tested.
LANGUAGE: English level II (Limited knowledge) Reading/Writing/Speaking is required.
Must possess a valid UAE driver’s license.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Abu Dhabi – UAE may receive a compensation package that may include health, separation, and other benefits.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
