About Alstom in India

Alstom has established a strong presence in India. Currently, the company is executing metro projects in several Indian cities including Chennai, Kochi and Lucknow where it is supplying Rolling Stock manufactured out its state of the art facility at SriCity in Andhra Pradesh. OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :
Drive and complete successfully any traditional accounting and expansion activities migration into different GFCs

Before transfer: Define transition plan and ensure the completion of readiness before transaction

During transfer: Drive migration and successfully ensure the completion of transfer

Before Go live: Review and validate split of responsibility as well as final scope transferred

During post Go live support (2-3 months): Review and validate work instruction, workload

Others: Propose the harmonization and promote best practice for GFC processes

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive and complete successfully any traditional accounting and expansion activities migration into different GFCs

Before transfer

Define the transition planning and milestones based on the agreed scope:

Define trainees with each GFC head (or from existing team or from new hiring)

Review onboarding and work environment readiness for newcomer with GFC head

Ensure the communication of migration project to related stakeholders,

During transfer:
Drive the migration (knowledge transfer and work-shadowing)

Solve issues occurred during transfer or escalate issues in time

Organize Steering Committee and Operations Committee with different stakeholders during migration stage

Before Go live:
Review and validate with GFC head and Customer on the split of responsibility

Review and validate with GFC head and Customer on the final scope transferred

During post Go live support (2-3 months):
Review and validate with GFC head on Standard Operation Procedure

Review and validate with GFC head on final FTE and workload spread

Organize monthly review with GFC and Customer

Propose the harmonization and simplification for GFC processes

Drive continuous improvement during integration project

Qualifications & Skills:
EDUCATION

Qualified accountant / Finance or an MBA / Business School desirable
Foreign language: English (mandatory),

Above 10 years of proven experience preferably in Multinational Company as a Project Manager or experienced team leader of accounting or controlling process operations.
