Team and Position Summary: Senior Systems Engineer, Enterprise Socials.
The Associate Digital Experience (ADE) team manages IT Infra of the organization. We support a large heterogenous enterprise environment that support Windows, MAC and Linux based end user systems and corporate network, server, and virtualization environments. Enterprise Collaboration team is a part of ADE team dealing with end-to-end support of collaboration platforms. Building and managing application that are globally utilized.

About Enterprise Social:

The Enterprise Social team within Associate Digital Experience focuses on creating an easy way for associates to instantly chat and ease collaboration across time and space. We are increasing productivity by connecting associates to each other and to the company. Store associates serve customers so they can live better. Corporate associates support stores to save people money so they can live better. Our team wants to support both populations so everyone at Walmart is as productive as possible.

Position Responsibilities:
We need someone who is a meticulous systems engineer who can drive automation for a software development team. This role is responsible for ensuring that products built internally can scale to the Fortune 1 size/use.

You’ll make an impact by:
Owning implementation of technical solutions and building technology roadmaps to incorporate into system platforms by evaluating and recommending new solutions.
Working with customers and business partners to coordinate systems changes to drive returns on investment.
Coordinating with third parties and internal infrastructure teams to see implementation and issue resolution through to completion.
Leading development of enterprise system solutions that will benefit customers and stakeholders by being flexible and scalable while delivering on customer needs.
Leading and participating in medium- to large-scale projects by reviewing project requirements.
Demonstrating up-to-date expertise and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans by providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.
Modeling compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by incorporating these into the development and implementation of business plans; using the Open Door Policy; and demonstrating and assisting others with how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.

Your Responsibilities:
1. Work on enterprise collaboration tools – social collaboration platforms.

2. Own the product holistically and collaborate with users, business owners, stakeholders

3. Work with product engineering team and required stakeholders in testing, planning, rollout of the product/tool to production.

4. Make strategic decisions, roadmaps for the product.

5. Diagnose, identify, and resolve the issues with the product/application by working with Tech-team, enabling automation if need be.

6. Introduce automation in the services, product, and process to minimize the incoming ticket volume.

7. Identify the continuous ways of enhancing the experience of the tool.

8. Identify scope for process and product automation and work with engineering team to develop fixes.

9. Offer seamless support experience for collaboration tools

10. Interact with peer, next level team for issues unresolved and drive the situation till the closure.

11. Supporting and solving meeting issues reported via from support team by engaging necessary teams

12. Talk to business teams gather requirements, plan infrastructure and scaling if need be.

13. Publishing support documentation to assist onsite staff with requests for information.

14. To maintain and fine-tune a high degree of product queries and adhere to all service management principles.

Position Requirements:
1. Skilled professional product or service delivery portfolio.

2. 8-12 years in supporting a medium or large enterprise environment technology and collaboration platforms.

3. Experience in handling product transition, rollouts, and migrations.

4. Flexible, customer focused and enthusiastic to learn.

5. Kean to learn new product/tech and adapt to agile methodology
