Job Description : About the Role
If you’re looking to be a part of a dynamic, highly-analytical team with an opportunity to dive deep into product development/improvement, look no further. As our Technical Writer for the Loan Platform, you will produce exceptional technical documents including user manuals, message standards, technical specifications, quick references, knowledge articles, page-level help, forms, and other documents as assigned. You’ll take the wheel in the end to end documentation pre and post delivery across different teams. You will apply your understanding of products and services to translate complex information into simple, polished, and engaging content.
What You Will Do
Plan, create, and maintain technical documentation for internal or external engineering audiences
Produce exceptional documentation that enables engineering audiences to understand Loan Platform’s products and efficiently complete their jobs with minimal help needed
Supplement developer documentation with relevant sample code
Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to continuously improve existing documentation based on feedback
Take responsibility for overall content areas, plan their information architecture, and build documents to match
Conduct quality checks, including technical reviews by development teams and other SMEs
Setup the documentation process (approval processes, basic construct etc) that could be followed by Product & Engineering Peers

What You Will Need
Education background Technical Communications, Professional Writing, English, or Journalism preferred
At least 4 years of technical writing experience (Fintech experience is a plus)
Experience with documentation tools & capable to choose the best tool meeting the requirements of GoTo Financial
Experience in technical documentation, regulatory documentation & customer facing documentation
Ability to work cross-function, cross-department to understand the product and requirements
Excited about technical systems and take comfort in solving Engineering problems and improving their overall productivity
Fluent in English with strong interpersonal communication skills in order to effectively collaborate with our international teams
