Experience building customer and developer facing products and services
Ability to communicate effectively and establish credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders including executive staff
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. Manager of Software Development, you will be responsible for establishing and leading an organization of other people managers and engineers to define, design, develop, test, deploy, and operate large scale distributed systems targeted at increasing the rate of innovation around driving Alexa engagement and feature adoption. A successful candidate will have an established background in driving clarity in highly ambiguous technical environments, developing long-term technical roadmaps, a strong technical ability to guide and coach, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment. You will be responsible for building, maintaining, and organizing your teams, defining the technical strategy and product road map for your organization, as well as defining, measuring, and reporting on your organizations key performance metrics.
Knowledge of software development and distribution on Mobile platforms including Android and iOS
Design and develop cloud services and integrate them with mobile experiences
Experience managing large scale, cross functional, cross organizational programs
Expertise in agile software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including agile estimation and planning, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
