Position : SR SYSTEMS DEVELOPER – ORACLE APPLICATION
Job Description : JOB DESCRIPTION
Working with minimal direction, this position will provide systems analysis, design, development, testing and support for mid-sized to large information systems. Responsibilities include:
Identify/document user requirements for small to mid-sized applications
Prepare detailed system specifications based on user requirements
Develop cost and resource estimates for project
Drive solid development practices which allow for ease of maintenance in the future
Provide solution alternatives based on understanding of business needs and usage
Assistance Oracle DBA, with database design
Develop and code system components according to specifications
Prepare system documentation, including code reviews, specification document, and test plans
Perform unit and system test and, as needed, validation testing
Coordinate with Operations staff on deployment of application
Provide ongoing support on the application
Provide guidance to junior staff in executing systems development responsibilities
Job Qualification
Education and Experience:
4-yr degree in Computer Science or related area
6 years’ minimum experience in applications development and in the following technologies
Java
Web Service development
Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring batch frameworks
SQL
Weblogic App Server administration
DevOps, Azure Dev Ops experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Client focused approach with strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to multitask and pay close attention to detail
Should be willing to work in the shift timing- 1 pm IST to 10 pm IST
