Job Description : Your Opportunity
We are looking for an engineer with a proven record of accomplishment to join our Global Customer Support’s Infrastructure team. In this role, you’ll be managing the Global Customer Support Infrastructure on which the customer issues are recreated and thus helping our support team do their job more efficiently and effectively. As an employee with Informatica’s Global Customer support Infrastructure Team –
You will be part of a strong team of knowledgeable and committed System Analysts supporting and connected onto the worldwide Informatica technical pool.

Thriving in a fast-paced support environment, you’ll work with our support team and help solve their complex technical problems, related to Informatica’ s flagship products like Power Center, Data Quality and its peripheries like various databases along with different Operating Systems etc.
Our Ideal Candidate
Experience on any Linux/Solaris/AIX Administration
Experience on any AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI Administration
Ensure 100% system availability.
A high degree of analytical and problem solving abilities
Must be good at troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Virtualization experience on any Solaris Container/Zones/LDoms, AIX LPAR’s and VMWare ESX/ESXi platforms.
Experience in install, upgrade and patching.
Good hands on any scripting language like Perl, Shell, Python, etc.
Knowledge on any automation tool like Chef, terraforms, puppet will be added advantage.
Your Responsibilities

As an integral part of the Global Customer Support Infrastructure team, you will
Responsible for installing the OS, upgrades and patching activities.
Responsible for creating and managing the Cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI)
Working daily System side requests via workload system.
Risk identification and documentation.
Be available on call.
Your Qualifications
BE, BTech, MCA degree or equivalent technical experience
3-6 years of experience in the software industry supporting and managing Unix servers/Cloud computing/virtualization.
Excellent grasp of OS, Networking and practice.
Any OS/Cloud certification is desirable.
Working knowledge of Cloud ECO systems (AWS/Azure/GCP/OCI) will be an added advantage.
Having experience or knowledge on Automation tools/scripting will be an added advantage
Having experience or knowledge on Cloudera Hadoop/Docker/Kubernetes will be an added advantage
