Coordinates interface activities between different railway systems – also driverless systems – in customer projects
Implementation of project specific interface management plans in accordance with the tender requirements
Coordinates and supervises interfaces and execution of external rolling stock subsystem
Handles contractual topics related to rolling stock in alignment with the Contract Manager
Support the Project Manager and Contract Manager in contractual topics with the customer or within the consortium
Handles interfaces between customers, partners and sub-suppliers or subsystems in alignment with the System Interface Manager
Driving of interface identification and clarification within turnkey projects with regards to interfaces between all participants and subsystems
Supervision of compliance with interface management processes
Creation of reports for the project manager on the contractual and interface compliance status
Use your skills to move the world forward
You should have minimum experience of 8 years along with degree in technical engineering, preferably in traffic planning, traffic engineering or electrical or mechanical engineering or Business Administration (MBA) preferably with railway specific specializationEvaluation expertise in railway transportation systems, ideally in the rail systems business, with the focus on interface management, system integration, contract managementSolid technical knowledge on all major subsystems of a railway turnkey project, e.g. Signalling, Railway Communication, Electrification, Power Supply, Rolling Stock, SCADA, Track Work etc.Knowledge of relevant IT-systems and toolsExperience in rail guided transport operation is desirableSeveral years of work experience larger metro railway project executions (experience as technical / contractual consultant to the customer very welcome)Experience in reading and understanding of contractual technical and legal requirementsCertification as project manager (preferred, e.g. IPMA) or knowledge of project management principles for project realisation and executionTeam leadership and mediation skills between teamsExcellent communication abilities combined with strong interpersonal skillsFluent English essential both written and oral, knowledge of German an asset
Independent and structured approach to workHigh level of customer and quality orientation together with strong abilities in consulting and implementationGood Communication Skills
