We are looking for a candidate with experience in Insurance and related products to join our underwriting team at Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Review insurance proposals and seek to improve terms.
All types of insurance processing in an efficient and timely manner to achieve prompt resolution and settlement by working closely with insurers.
Review insurance applications for compliance and adherence.
Draw up quotes for competitive insurance premiums.
Use professional techniques and strategize to calculate the risk associated with client policies.
Negotiate and define the specific terms of insurance policies with insurers or policyholders.
Layout and finalize insurance policies ing specific terms and conditions as agreed upon by the client.
Keep detailed records of policies underwritten.
Build professional relationships with client, insurers, reinsurers, and colleagues.
Excellent Customer service.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Proven insurance underwriting experience.
Sound technical knowledge of insurance products and other aspects of insurance processing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Sensible judgement and attention to detail.
Experience in handling Mircrosoft Office Tools and Analytical tools
Insurance qualifications such as CII/ ACII is an added advantage.
